  • The genesis of the K.V.

    • 1. Kendriya Vidyalaya Ukhrul was opened on 16th April, 2007 under the Civil Sector.
    2. This vidyalaya was inaugurated by then VMC Chairman - Mr. PANKAJ KUMAR PAL, DC UKHRUL.
    3. This vidyalaya was started under the guidance of Mrs. L. RADHARANI, PRINCIPAL K. V. NO.1IMPHAL.

  • Important milestones of growth

    • 1. Kendriya Vidyalaya Ukhrul initially started from CLASS - I TO V.
    2. In the session 2017-18, Kendriya Vidyalaya Ukhrul was upgraded to CLASS-XII (Science stream).

  • Facilities available including games and sports facilities

    • 1. Sport’s facilities include a small ground.
    2. Indoor games such as Table Tennis, Chess and Carom Board are available for rainy days.
    3. Yoga is taught to the students with an aim to develop a higher level of concentration and flexibility.
    4. The vidyalaya emphasizes on co-curricular activities and holistic development of students.

  • We have following infrastructure:


    Kendriya Vidyalaya Ukhrul has
    1. well-furnished classrooms.
    2. a computer lab with 38 computer
    3. a library having about more than 1200 different kinds of books.
    4. a music room with various musical instruments.
    5. an art room.
    6. a science lab.
    7. 11.33 acre land is provided by the state government to the school for permanent building.
    8. The construction of boundary walls has been completed.
